For Rotarians

Why Participate

Community Across America provides information and resources related to communities across America, such as local events, businesses, organizations, schools, government services, and community news. It serves as a hub for finding relevant information about communities in the United States.

Focuses include:

  • Connecting individuals, local and national nonprofits, and businesses and institutions to their community
  • National focus covering communities across America
  • Multifaceted approach to community building, encompassing networking, resource sharing, engagement, and promotion
  • Emphasis on community-driven content, potentially relying on user-generated content and engagement
It’s easy

While this organization focuses on many things that are already initiatives of many communities, the inclusion of a community currency will be key to increase and reward community engagement.  This innovative point system can be tailored to any community across the country, rewarding individuals for their involvement with nonprofit organizations, volunteering for community events, and participation in local initiatives.

With these points being redeemable at local and national businesses and institutions, it will be the driving force to increase community participation beyond the traditional practices.

How Service Works

Individuals can access valuable information about local events, resources, businesses, and services, which can help them make informed decisions and better navigate their community.

  3. Community Engagement: This organization will provide individuals with opportunities to engage with their community and contribute to its growth and development. This may include participating in discussions, sharing ideas, volunteering for events or causes, or supporting local businesses.

  4. Empowerment: Community Across America will empower individuals to take an active role in shaping their community and making a positive impact. By providing tools and resources for community organizing and activism, individuals can work together to address local issues and create positive change.

This can help them better understand the needs of the community and tailor their services to better serve them.

  3. Collaboration and Partnership: The organization will provide a platform for local and national organizations to collaborate and partner on initiatives that benefit the community. This can include joint events, programs, or advocacy efforts that align with their shared goals and values.

  4. Resource Sharing: Community Across America will serve as a hub for sharing resources and information relevant to local and national organizations. This can include best practices, funding opportunities, or relevant research, which can help them improve their programs and services.
