Project 2 - Tamarac Family Shelter

Join us at the Tamarac (large family shelter) at 7525 East Hampden Avenue. This is the old Embassy Suites which has been converted into a shelter for unhoused families as part of Mayor Johnston’s House 1000 Initiative.
Tasks & Shifts:
Morning and afternoon shifts for the donation rooms where volunteers will be organizing and adding clothes to donations.
Morning and afternoon shifts for exterior building clean up, beautifying the outdoor areas at Tamarac.
Morning only shifts for room organization.
Morning only shifts for plant care
The Club 31 Service Team will be sending an online signup form (Sign Up Genius) with convenient shift times from 8 AM to 4 PM ..

Additional Information: Bring your own gloves.
Bring your own water jug/plenty of water/cups.
Wear sunscreen.
Dress appropriately for weather.
Sturdy footwear (no open toe shoes).
Hat is recommended if your shift is outside.
ALL CHILDREN MUST BE SUPERVISED.
DO NO BRING PETS.
