Food Drive - Kings Soopers at Florida Av & Kipling Pkwy

Rotarians of the Lakewood Foothills Rotary Club and Volunteers from Jeffco Eats will collect donated food items in front of the Kings Soopers from 9:00PM to 2:30PM on May 18th at 1545 S Kipling Pkwy.

Jeffco Eats helps students and families by providing food over the weekends, currently providing bags of food for over 500 families each weekend. They insure that no child goes hungry by serving those in Jeffco Title One schools, GAP schools, Section 8 housing, and Head Start programs. They partner with Food Bank of Rockies and the Jeffco Public Schools federal Title I Schools program. Specific geographic areas served are Lakewood, Edgewater, Wheat Ridge and Arvada. Many of the students and families served are the homeless population. Volunteers wanting to support Jeffco Eats and Rotarians from other clubs are welcome to join us.
