The Peace Pole stands along the South portion of the trail near the Pheasant Ridge neighborhood.  This project shift will complete landscaping to add a small, landscaped rest and contemplation area at the Peace Pole.  Using xeriscaping design, plantings, a bench and some minimal hardscaping will be installed.

Volunteers may be working on the full project from start to finish.

This team will install a number of birdhouses and replace some existing signage around the trail.

This team will prep and repaint the small information kiosk at the parking area, trim grass and weeds around the parking area, plant some native trees and replace the main trail sign with a new one.

This spur trail on the east side of the main trail will have a short boardwalk installed, general trail maintenance done (trimming grass, weeds and overhanging branches) and some gravel laid at the intersection of the spur and main trail.  This project shift is being coordinated by the Kettle Falls Rotary Club.

Several areas of the trail need additions of gravel.  This team will spread gravel that has been delivered by tractor or truck.  This will mostly be shovel and rake work to smooth the rough distribution done by heavy equipment.

Same function as Trail bed maintenance 1, except afternoon shift.  Smoothing gravel on the trail that was laid down my tractors.  Shovel and rake work.

Please select at least one shift role.
