Help Community Across America with their new program to help community organizations, churches, schools, and nonprofit organizations across Colorado!
Ski season is here! This means an influx of thousands of visitors to our communities, many of which leave behind items at the hotels and resorts they stay at. Community Across America saw this as an opportunity to help Colorado residents by providing a way to get these unclaimed lost and found items to people who would benefit from them. For example, we were able to gather over 450lbs of winter clothes and distribute them to two churches (Christ’s Body Ministries and Step Seven Ministries) that were able to distribute them to the homeless population in the Denver and Parker area.
Our goal is to distribute 2,000 lbs. of unclaimed lost and found items this season to Colorado residents in need and would love any help in reaching this goal. We will need assistance with:
-Community Outreach (To resorts, hotels, and community organizations)
-Item collection and pickups from resorts and hotels
