Our mission is to create a safe and welcoming environment for Summit County locals who have experience with mental health and/or substance use difficulties, while establishing a sober community with a focus on creating music together and fostering positive mental health.
Join us for our Community Jam Session! There is no cost! We welcome anyone that would like to participate in playing music, just come and check things out, or help put on the event. Feel free to bring your own instruments and equipment! There will be limited equipment available to use, donated by attendees and the community.
There are many ways to help, including:
- Welcome and sign people in
- Assist Building Hope with distributing resources
- Coordinate musicians who signed up to play
- Help with music equipment management
- Help coordinate musicians for jams and songs (like hosting an open mic)
- Assist with soundboard and tech
- Just show up and support your community and meet fellow musicians and like-minded people!
- PLAY MUSIC!
