Birthday Party Food Drive - Community Refrigerator

We are hosting a birthday party and food drive to celebrate 2 years of community members helping community members through the Millbrook Community Refrigerator, a project we started two years ago in partnership with the Millbrook Library. People who are food insecure take food that is donated from other people's bounty, Hudson Valley Fresh, and Marona's, the local grocery store. On May 10 there will be food and fun for all from 11 am to 1 pm at Millbrook Library at the corner of Franklin Avenue and Friendly Lane. There will be a balloon artist, face paiting, crafts, seed planting, games and time to visit with others from the community. A cereal box domino rally will be held at 12:45 through the gallery of the library. Stonewood Farm, a local farm devoted to food insecurity, is partnering by providing the birthday cake.
