Feed the Hungry in the Thames River Valley

Working with SE Connecticut United Way and The Outreach Program to prepare and pack 30,000 packaged meals.  These meals will be distributed throughout the Thames River Valley and SE Connecticut by the Gemma E. Moran United Way/Labor Food Center in New London, CT.  We are assembling a volunteer force of 75-80 Rotarians and community members to conduct the preparation and packing of these meals.  The total cost will be approximately $11,500 to pay for the food stuffs and miscellaneous expenses to complete the event.
