Kalamazoo River Cleanup | May 17

Second Annual Cleanup| Sat., May 17, 2025
Project Website: Kalamazoo River Cleanup
Volunteer to Cleanup: 10:00 am – 2:00 pm • Afterparty: 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm
Join us for a day of community service as we tackle litter and debris along the trails, riverbanks and in the river.
The cleanup will be focused on several parks and waterways in Kalamazoo, Comstock, and Parchment.
There are many ways to participate; for families, avid river paddlers and fishermen, and people who love to wade in creeks.
The Kalamazoo River Cleanup Initiative is a community-driven effort organized by the Rotary Club of Kalamazoo and several partnering organizations, who are interested in conservation, water protection and volunteerism.
This project is crucial for restoring the natural habitat, improving water quality for recreational use, and enhancing the beauty of our local environment. By participating, volunteers contribute to a sustainable future and demonstrate the power of collective action in preserving our natural resources for generations to come.
