Our Rotary club wlll plant 10 trees in a northeast Denver Park as well as assist with clean-up and maintenance in the area. The project will be done in partnership with The Park People/ Denver Digs Trees and the City of Denver Parks and Recreation Dept. There will be other support opportunities for those who want less physical activities. Why plant trees?   The Benefits:  (The Nature Conservancy, 6 Ways Trees Benefit All of Us, October 09, 2020.)

  • Trees eat the greenhouse gases that cause climate change.
  • Trees boost our mental health while raising our physical health.
  • Trees clean the air so we can breathe more easily.
  • Trees give a home to wildlife we love.
  • Trees cool down your life, and could even save it.
  • Trees filter your water, making your drinking supply cleaner and more reliable.”

We welcome your participation in this fun outdoor event.
